Govt increases FHOG from 14th October 2008
As at the 14th Of October the Federal Government increased the First Home owners grant (FHOG) from $7000 to $14000.
Coupled with the SA State FHOB (bonus) of $4000 this means that until 30 June 2009 a First home buyer can receive $18000 towards their purchase.
BUT wait there’s more– if you build a house then the total of benefit paid to you is $25000!
